EZ curl bar all the way. You can do way more weight than a straight bar since your wrists aren't in an unnatural position and feeling the strain. More weight equals bigger muscles. Enough said.

I have been using the straight bar for years, however it occured to me through reading various websites that the idea of alternating the straight bar and the ez curl bar would provide variety plus involving the other muscles i.e. brachailis, and brachioradialis. This would partly improve the overall size and shape of the arm.

[...] That is why the EZ curl bar was invented, to reduce the pain on your wrists. It places your wrists at an angle where the palms aren’t facing straight up. Unfortunately, although the straight bar causes more wrist pain, the straight bar is also better for your biceps. [...]

Alex- Seriously, and don't you just love the name... The "Easy" curl bar. Kinda strange that we call the bar EZ... maybe it stands for something else special and I just don't know it. It's easier on your wrists, but I think it gives people the wrong idea about making workouts easier.

This just reinforces what I have always believed, that EZ-bars aren't -per definition- a better choice for curls.

But as you state in the end, it can be quite useful for tricep workouts.

Nice :)
