I know many of you are new to weight training. But sometimes I forget what it’s like. And I forget how many outstanding posts Jason contributed over the years to help you. Rather than resend them all (there are too many!), I’m going to highlight a few from time to time in a summary post like this one.
Even if you are not-so-new-to-weight training, you still should check these out.
This time, I’ll highlight two areas: training itself, and junk food diets.
1) Exercise Movements and Training
What You’re Missing With Half Squats – Jason does a great job explaining why you MUST use the full motion of squats
Don’t Break The Unspoken Rules – If you work out at home, do whatever the heck you want; but if you go to a gym, you want to be aware of these rules of etiquette.
Your Workouts Will Always Suck Without These – there are some parts of weight training that you simply must do
Setting the Record Straight on Muscle Recovery Time – this is a slightly controversial one; read this and if you disagree, chime in on the comments section!
If there’s a particular weight-training exercise you are looking for, check out http://worldfitnessnetwork.com/exercises/muscle-groups.aspx first. Then try the “search” function on the site.
2) Diet
Drinking Your Way to the Top of the Fat Chain – enough already; just get softdrinks out of your diet… NOW!
How to Quit Junk Food Forever – this, plus the next, are two of World Fitness Network’s most popular posts ever
A Year Without Junk Food – ditto
With all of these posts, you should read them and make comments or ask questions. The value of World Fitness Network, for others as well as for yourself, depends on you actively engaging – so send in those comments!

Darrin, you’ve got enough information posted here to keep us reading for a long time! Thanks.
Some of this is brand new to me, and I’m anxious to get started on it.
Part of it I’m already doing. Or, in the case of junk food, NOT doing. That is, not eating anymore. The articles on those topics are good reminders and very motivational in helping me keep focused.
You have a fantastic web site here.
