Hi guys! New to the forum but not new to the site! :)

Quick question time: Can tuna be used as a protein source after a workout? Not after weightlifting (I have a shake for that), but I am thinking of using it after my cardio (I do weights/cardio on sepparate days). According to the label on the can, 100g have 0.5g fats and 27g protein. Which I think is pretty good, but I could be wrong.

Ideas?

Tuna is a great source of protein (if you like the taste).  But most people ruin the nutritional value by mixing mayo with it.  Don't do that!

Well adding mayo would defeat the porpose of eating it soon after a workout wouldn't it? It would slow the absorption process.Confused
