If you eat low fat stuff and lots of calories what do u gain in weight ? water? muscle?

I wanna keep my bodyfat low at %6 but have to eat well to promote muslce growth (fyi I lift weights). Just not too much fat cause I want to stay lean.

If you eat "lots" of calories, what you gain is fat, regardless of whether that is low-fat food or not.

If you are truly on an intense weight lifting program, then you can eat in excess of what you burn and gain muscle. But at some point, too many calories will still turn into fat.

Let's assume by "low fat" you mean lean proteins. Then all is good.

If on the other hand by "low fat" you mean "products that replace the fat with lots of sugar and corn syrup" then your muscles will only be able to absorb so much of that crap (yes, it is crap) and the rest will turn into fat.
