My abductor is doing fine, but I still feel tightness in both sides of my hip area and other areas in my upper legs.  I'm really focusing on general flexibility and really focusing on areas in which I have flexibility problems.

Following an assessment prescribed in the book I have, my flexibility issues are not in my calves but mostly in my lower back, which also seems to affect my hip function.

Another problem that affects my ability to stay straight on deep squats is that my femur length is longer than my torso length by about an inch-and-a-half.  A short torso means that I must use a wide stance and become very flexible in my hips and lower back.  Right now, I'm not.

Cameron – separated your AC joint?  wow.  what's the recovery plan for that?

And Greg – seriously, check out videos online by Grey Cook.  Excellent mobilty and flexibility stuff.  Just remember, as you add flexibility use it.  In other words, as soon as your hips are more mobile, start doing deeper squats.  Don't wait for "full flexibility" just keep making improvements and then use those improvements.

ima pretty much gonna have to take a few weeks (upper body) off of upperbody neither one of my shoulders are great, from past usage and i'd rather not damage them.  It's funny, I can easily do a military press, but not a DB shoulder press.  I tried to put a 10lb. dumbbell over myhead for a demontration yesterday and cringed, where as I'll take 75lbs on an olympic bar and put it up like nothing is wrong, it's really anything with a wide grip (typical AC joint stuff).  my left shsoulder is really rough because I kept working out through the pain in highschool.  This time I'm going to go easy on it, no sports or anything I really have to stay in shape as much for.
